"I was endlessly curious about how things worked, not just objects, but systems, nature, people, and the universe itself," Peraza said. "Innovation for me has never been about complexity; it's about making life work better for people."
That instinct to understand and improve evolved into a lifelong mission. With degrees in engineering and international business, Peraza has built a global career across startups, government, and technology companies, leading teams, shaping strategies, and helping organizations grow intentionally.
Today, as Director of Sales Operations at Wrap, Peraza applies his innovative approach to public safety. His focus is on creating scalable systems, cultivating relationships across borders, and uniting teams around Wrap's mission to save lives through safer outcomes.
"My engineering background trained me to look for structure and precision," he said. "International business taught me empathy and adaptability. Together, they shaped how I lead, mapping processes like an engineer and building trust like a diplomat."
That balance between precision and empathy has guided Peraza throughout a career characterized by transformation. From assisting small construction firms in Florida to modernize to leading multimillion-dollar international trade initiatives with ProMéxico, he's learned that sustainable growth relies on three interconnected pillars: purpose, process, and people.
"Sustainable growth isn't just about speed, it's about alignment," he said. "Build your purpose first, then your process, and empower your people. "When those three move in sync, you can scale anything."
At ProMéxico, Peraza led one of the country's top-performing offices, helping facilitate over $700 million in investments and exports. But what mattered most to him wasn't just the numbers, it was the trust built along the way. That focus on trust, he says, continues to guide him at Wrap as he supports global expansion and strategic operations.
"When I enter a new market or partnership, I always ask: Have I earned trust? Does this feel like mutual value?" he said. "Those questions ensure we build bridges that last."
